Sum of distance covered by Car and by Foot = 320 km

Speed = Distance/Time

Calculation

Let the total distance be 80x

By car = (20/100) × 80x = 16x

⇒ Remaining distance = 80x – 16x = 64x

By Train = (5/8) × (75/100) × 64x = 30x

By bus = (3/8) × (75/100) × 64x = 18x

⇒ By foot = 80x – 16x – 30x – 18x = 16x

According to question,

16x + 16x = 320

⇒ x = 10

∴ Total distance = 80 × 10 = 800 km
