Calculation:

There are 8 days between 16th Feb to 23rd Feb and 17th Feb to 24th Feb.

According to the question,

16th + 17th + 18th + .... + 23th = 8 × 15.1     ....(1)

17th + 18th + 19th + ..... + 24th = 8 × 16.2     ....(2)

(2) - (1),

24th - 16th = 8 × (16.2 - 15.1)

⇒ 24th - 16th = 8.8

⇒ 24th - 5.4 = 8.8

⇒ 24th = 8.8 + 5.4

⇒ 24th = 14.2

∴ The temperature on 24th Feb was 14.2°.
