SP = CP ×

CALCULATION:

Let price of fresh piece of laptop = x

Price at which Malini purchased the laptop = 60% of x = 0.6x

Price at which Malini sold the laptop to Shalini = 90% of 0.6x = 0.54x

Amount paid by Shalini to Malini of laptop is rs. 13500

⇒ 0.54x = 13500

⇒ x = 25000

∴ Price of fresh piece of laptop = Rs. 25000
