গুগল গ্লাস তার “”Explorer”" ভার্সনে Liquid Crystal on Silicon, LED illuminated Display ব্যবহার করছে। গুগল গ্লাসে প্রথমে LED illumination এর মাধ্যমে পোলারাইজড হয়ে Polarizing Beam Splitter(PBS) এর মাধ্যমে Liquid Crystal on Silicon(LCoS) এ চলে যায়। এরপর সেটা আলোকে প্রতিফলিত করে সক্রিয় পিক্সেলে পরিনত করে ফেলে।তারপর Beam Splitter আলোকে আবার প্রতিফলিত করে ৪৫ডিগ্রী কোনে সেটা চোখে প্রজেক্টরে দেখায়।
