স্নায়ুতন্ত্রের গঠনগত উপাদান [Structural Components of Nervous System]:- স্নায়ু প্রধানত নিউরোন বা স্নায়ুকোষ এবং নিউরেগ্লিয়া বা ধারককোষ নিয়ে গড়ে উঠেছে । নিউরোন তাই স্নায়ু তন্ত্রের মুখ্য উপাদান । উন্নত প্রাণীদেহে স্নায়ুতন্ত্র নিউরোন ছাড়াও আরও চারটি প্রধান অংশ নিয়ে গড়ে ওঠে, যেমন : [i] স্নায়ু [ii] স্নায়ুসন্ধি [iii] স্নায়ুগ্রন্থি [iv] মস্তিষ্ক ও সুষুম্নাকান্ড ।
