Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was born in 1920. After receiving his BA degree from Calcutta, he joined Dhaka University in the Department of Law. He is one of the founders of Awami Muslim League, a political party established in 1949. He led his party Awami League to absolute victory the 1970 national and in provincial elections. His achievement forms one of the contexts for the development of independent and Soverign Bangladesh.
