Let, x marbles are there in box.

Now, total capacity of the box= x+100

According to the question,

$x - \frac{x}{4} = \frac{x + 100}{3} \Rightarrow \frac{4 x - x}{4} = \frac{x + 100}{3} \Rightarrow \frac{3 x}{4} = \frac{x + 100}{3} \Rightarrow 9 x = 4 x + 400 \Rightarrow 5 x = 400 ∴ x = \frac{400}{5} = 80$

There are 80 marbles in the box.
