How do you answer "what makes you unique" for a college application?

Start by doing a little brainstorming. What are the qualities you have? What are the interests you have? Because inherently, those things are already pretty unique, since everyone has different interests and traits. From there, think about which of these traits and interests are most effective for a college admissions process. Which would be helpful and contribute to a college environment? Once you've determined which qualities stand out the most in terms of those criteria, you can start writing. Try to stick to 2-3 traits, though—you don't want to overextend yourself!
