Convince your parents to let you bring the dog home. If there are reasons why your dog is dying talk about the reasons and say that you could do better next time. If your dog is dying of something that couldn't be prevented, explain how well you took care of your dog this time and that you would do the same for the other one, plus you'll miss your dog so much you'll need a new companion.
