That sounds rough. Explain to your parents how your brother's behavior impacts you. For example, "It really upsets me when my brother comes in my room to take my things or hit me. I have asked him to stop, and he won't. It's frustrating to not be able to find my own things. When he hits me, I feel like I can't defend myself, because I'm older and bigger. I've tried everything I can think of to get him to leave me alone. Can you help me?" You have the right to be upset, and most parents appreciate you being assertive and asking them to help you brainstorm solutions (e.g. a lock on your door). If your parents absolutely refuse to listen, try asking your school's guidance counselor or a clergy member to mediate a discussion between you and your parents. Your brother should respect your space, and you have every right to ask for help.
