Toners are not only for blondes. You can use a toner for brassy brown hair to achieve an ashy brunette. In fact, most blue toner for orange hair is designed for pretty dark blondes and brunettes. Lighter blondes are usually better off using a purple toner to remove yellow after bleaching. I would recommend the Loreal toners.
