Yes! A few of my friends did just that. Aerospace has a lot to do with fluid dynamics and fluid flow, and mechanical engineers are the only ones equipped with the knowledge to handle such problems. Purdue and Georgia Tech have awesome courses for aerospace. I suggest you check them out.
