I'm 58 year old female with 10 consecutive Correctional years as a Michigan Corrections Officer, along with other experience in law enforcement with shorter time in. Is there a position I may apply for? What can I do?

You can only apply if you're a sworn LEO with arrest powers. Even if you are, you need to be a Texas LEO first, then be a TX State Trooper I, then a TX State Trooper II. By the time you gain the necessary investigative experience, you will probably be 70.
