If they're not taking you seriously and constantly pulling out their phones and talking, this usually means you're one of these two teachers: You're the really nice teacher or you're the funny/relatable teacher. Just start confiscating phones or start handing out more surprise quizzes without any warning. If you want to go the other route, try bribing them with food or "No Homework" passes.
