Combination locks on school lockers usually have a series of numbers stamped on the back. A locksmith can plug that number into a program, which provides the original combo for that lock. With a Master Lock type of lock, move the dial and look for indicators from the shackle—as you get closer to the correct combo, the shackle will pop out a little bit further with each correct number.
