Know that self-criticism is an external thing that has been ingrained into your way of thinking and, therefore, isn't necessarily part of your true authentic self. Start working at deleting the negative views of yourself from your mind by replacing them with more positive and accurate phrases. If you think that you're something that you don't want to be and you'd like to be different, go out there and make a change. Start small and keep chipping away at it.
