My zipper came off completely. Once I get it on can I glue both ends or is sewing better?

If your entire zipper has become detached, it is probably best to sew it back in place. Stitches will hold your zipper in place more reliably than glue, and glue also has the potential to interfere with the teeth of the zipper if it is not applied with care.
