What's with the using porcupine quills to fix the tipi in front? That's ridiculous. I live on a reservation where tipis are an ancient traditional dwelling and I am writing a book on tipis.

The tipi design varies from tribe to tribe. It's possible that porcupine quills were used by another tribe than the one you're from.
