Faking an accent is not easy, and rarely feels natural. The people who have had the best results are people who moved to America, for a rather long period of time (at least 1 year). If you get enough exposure to American media and practice prononciation a lot, you can achieve this by yourself without moving. There is no secret, just copy what you hear. It takes a lot of practice but you can get there.
