Publish your ebook on Amazon in a more obscure category. Amazon looks at best sellers on an hourly basis (or possibly even more quickly). All you have to do is offer your book for free and do a huge push for it—as long as you're the top-selling book in that category for some period of time (even if it's just 15 minutes), you're considered a best-seller, which you can use to promote yourself in the future.
