Dressy fabric is often easily marked by hanger pressure. The way to prevent this is to use a buffer between the hanger and the garment. Place a piece of felt folded over the parts of the skirt waist where the hanger will be clipped in place. The felt will provide a surface for the hanger to cling to without leaving marks on the skirt.
