This can vary per PC. For a standard, tower PC, unscrew the side panel. There should be a bay with the hard drives in them. This could vary on a standard prebuilt PC, but there is likely some sort of thing it is in that you can squeeze and pull out. If not, you will just likely need to unscrew the HDD, detach the connectors (power & SATA) and pull it out.
