Round steak is a tough one to cook as a tender steak! Try marinading the meat in worchestershire sauce for 15-20 minutes. Heat your pan on med-high heat, pat the steak dry with paper towels to remove some of the marinade, then toss it into the hot pan. I don't know how you like your steak done, but it's definitely true - the more well done you cook a steak, the tougher it will likely be. Biggest thing of all to remember? Remove the steak from the pan, cover it with foil if you want, and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. It's worth it!
