Open another document, and write the craziest thing you can think of. This exercise helps you loosen up your creativity, which often becomes clogged if you become frustrated. After you have done this, go back to the document containing the story you feel blocked on, and read the most recent chapter over, up to where you got stuck. Does everything look right to you? Is there a place the story doesn't flow correctly? Very often, writer's block is caused by an author trying to take the story in a direction it doesn't want to go. Try writing in different ideas, even crazy ones, until one works.
