My washer will fill, agitate, and drain most of the water, then spin, but it doesn't drain all of the water, leaving about 3 inches? Any ideas?

Check the lint filter if it has one. Then check the drain and drain pump for obstructions. If it still fails to drain, the pump may require repair or replacement.
