In newspaper writing, how do I use quotation marks when the quote is broken into several paragraphs?

Multi-paragraph quotes are not usually used in newspaper articles (for the sake of brevity and conciseness). Long quotes are typically broken up by paraphrasing and explanatory material. However, if a writer thinks a multi-paragraph quotation is warranted, s/he would use quotation marks in the normal way, with marks at the beginning of each paragraph but at the end of only the final paragraph.
