If the nail is causing you pain, prepare a bath with two quarts of warm water and three tablespoons of Epsom salt. You can use table salt instead of Epsom salt if you don't have any Epsom salt laying around. Soak your foot for about 15 minutes. Do this every time the nail starts causing you pain. If this doesn't solve the problem, then it's time to go see a podiatrist.
