What if I can't tell if its an acne cyst or a pimple? I have had one for a week now and can't seem to get rid of it. It had no head so I tried to lance it, but failed, and all that came out was blood. Help?

Cystic acne is larger, painful, and often difficult to get rid of. You may feel a throbbing pain from the nodule. A deep acne cyst in the skin often won’t come to a “head” by itself.
