Vaccine protocols vary depending on the vaccine type and also by country! In the UK the first vaccine is given at 9 weeks old, with a second at 12 weeks. However, in the US the first vaccine may be given from 6 weeks, with repeat doses every 3 – 4 weeks until the kitten is 16 weeks of age.
