That sounds like a really frustrating situation! As tough as it may be, the best, most mature step to take is to not give your cousin any extra attention and to be the bigger person. As you both get older, you'll be a seasoned pro at dealing with difficult people, and she may learn that not every adult will automatically believe what she says.
