Maybe you have problems with understanding the meaning of the words you read. Try to pray, ask the the Holy Spirit to help you. If He explains the Bible, it will become easier for you. If this doesn't really help, try to read one chapter and write down every beautiful verse you can find. Look at them every time you struggle.
