How should I get shampooed at the salon? The last time I had my hair shampooed there I ended up needing to go to the hospital and I was told I have BPPV.

Tilting your head back into the wash basin could have triggered the BPPV. I recommend washing your hair at home in the shower in an upright position and declining the shampooing at the salon.
