You can first take it in your hand, and then pretend to grab it with your other hand, when in reality you're letting the coin drop down into the palm of the hand you're already holding it in. Then, let the hand with the coin drop to your side as if it's no longer of use because the audience will think you have the coin in your other hand. Then, open the hand without the coin. Boom.
