Being in ROTC will do well in your favor in the application process and possibly even get you promoted quicker, but just remember not to show it off. Your recruiter will be glad to know you were in the ROTC, but it means nothing if you aren't the modest, honest, loyal kind of person they want. You will still require a university bachelor's degree to join the navy as an officer.
