Look for an adjustment tab on the hinge and adjust the setting. Locate the adjustment tab, which could be a plunger. Use it to adjust the hinge setting based on your cabinet door size. In general, the gap between the hinge and the tab determines the setting; for example, a large gap means a lighter setting, while a small gap means a stronger setting. Keep in mind that some hinges might have an adjustment lever instead of a tab. If this is the case for you, rotate the lever clockwise until you reach the setting of your choice.
