I have 5 piercings in each ear, but soon I'll be joining military basic training. I cannot take them out, the ones on cartilage are recent. What should I do to cover them up?

You could get a clear plastic retainer, as small as possible. They are quite cheap and not visible from a distance. They can also be used in situations such as schools with strict piercing rules.
