A reality show is seemingly about real people (like you and your friends) getting together somewhere and living life as "normal" but with cameras focused on all of them. However, most reality shows are scripted to some extent and to a great extent are heavily edited to enhance the drama and pathos to make them seem more interesting than daily life would ordinarily seem to a viewer. Whatever you think a reality show is, things are never what they really seem.
