There are way too many factors to give a simple answer to this. It can get so complicated you'd honestly be better off consulting a professional astrologer. But this would be best done with a transit reading (comparing the natal chart aspected to current planetary positions). Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn all often have a unique relationship to finances. The 2nd and 8th houses are also significant, and the 6th and 10th houses relate to job/career issues in particular. (For more generalized trends, you might also consider what's called a "progressed" chart reading.)
