The most common way to prepare a flaming shot is to use a high-proof alcohol such as rum 151. Pour the liquid over the back of a spoon so it floats on top of the shot you’ve already mixed and created. The flame won’t last too long, and you may need to dial in the amount of high-proof alcohol needed to get the right flame.
