Start by drawing a normal fairy, but then base her outfit off of a flower. For example, a bluebell fairy might have a bluebell-shaped skirt. Also, try to use the flower's colors in the fairy. For example, a sunflower fairy might have lots of gold, yellow and brown in her outfit.
