You can reuse the small bottles safely after cleaning. Just make sure to wash them really well, and maybe refill them with the same product: e.g. put mouthwash in small mouthwash bottles, shampoo in small shampoo bottles and so on. Even if you wash them, this will reduce the risk of mixing products.
