If I have a ruscus stem that is getting roots soaking in water, will it grow if I put it in dirt?

Wow, you got a stem to root? I have tried that a couple times without luck so far. Most definitely if you have roots, you should be able to grow it into a plant/bush. Let the roots grow a little while so there are several stout ones since depending on how big your stem is it will take a lot of energy to feed it. I've read that it likes sandy soil and to be kept moist but that if it doesn't grow well it needs some heavier clay dirt added. Do some research for your own plant.
