Pressure (Gay Lussac’s) law:

At constant volume, pressure of a fixed mass of gas is directly proportional to its absolute temperature.

Mathematically,

P ∝ T .. .(at constant volume)

∴ P = kT

Where, k is constant of proportionality P

∴ \(\frac{P}{T}\) = k = constant

For two gases, \(\frac{P_1}{T_1}=\frac{P_2}{T_2}\) = constant
