Charles’ law:
At constant pressure, volume of a fixed mass of gas is directly proportional to its absolute temperature.
Mathematically,
V ∝ T … ( at constant pressure)
∴ V = kT
where k is constant of proportionality
∴ \(\frac{V}{T}\) = k = constant
For two gases, \(\frac{V_1}{T_1}=\frac{V_2}{T_2}\) = constant.
