A half wave rectifier rectifies only the half of ac input i.e., it conducts once durng an ac input cycle while a full wave rectifies both the half-cycles of the ac input i.e., if conducts twice during a cycle. ltbr. `:.` The output frequency for half-wave is 50Hz.
