For maximum effective resistance the n resistors must be connected in series.
Maximum effective resistance `R_(s) = nR`
For minimum effective resistance then n resistors must be connected in parallel.
Maximum effective resistance `R_(P) = R//n`
`:. (R_(s))/(nP)= (nR)/(R//n) n^(2)`
