A coil of resistance 100Ω is connected across a battery of emf 6.0V.
A coil of resistance 100Ω is connected across a battery of emf 6.0V. Assume that the heat developed in the coil is used to raise its temperature. If the heat capacity of the coil is 4.0J/K, how long will it take to raise the temperature of the coil by 15° C?

R = 100Ω, E = 6v
Heat capacity of the coil = 4J/k ΔT = 15°c
Heat liberate => E2/Rt= 4J/K × 15
=> (6 x 6)/100 x t = 60 => t = 166.67sec = 2.8min
