Option 2 : Decontextualized curriculum
Effective teaching is defined as the ability to improve student achievements. Effecting teaching is to provide good or quality education. It needs to fulfill some criteria to achieve the learning outcome.
There are various reasons for students' failure in academic achievement like lack of interest, less attention, etc. One of the reasons is decontextualized curriculum.
- Decontextualization is the process of examining or interpreting something that is separate from the context in which it is embedded.
- It occurs consciously or subconsciously.
- Decontextualized curriculum can be responsible for students' failure as they will not be able to deal with the curriculum which is not contextualized with their real world.
Thus, it is concluded that Decontextualized curriculum contributes to students' failure in academic achievements.
HintExperiential learning, inclusive philosophy, and learner-centered pedagogy make their learning creative and interesting so these cannot be the reason for academic failure.
