Concept:
- Tricarboxylic acid cycle or kreb's cycle or citric acid cycle
- The end product of glycolysis will start this kreb's cycle
- Citric acid will be the end product of TCA cycle
- Pentose phosphate pathway -> Occurs in cytosol in the same place of glycolysis
- PPP is useful to maintain carbon homeostasis
- Glycolysis it break down the glucose into carbon compounds and releases energy
- Lactic acid fermentation -> glucose is converted into energy
- Glycolysis produces 2 ATP's, Kreb's cycle produce 2 ATP and 6 NADH
