Statement I and II:
Total 12 mangoes and 24 oranges and half of the mangoes and 3/4th of the oranges are ripped;
∴ Total fruits = 12 + 24 = 36
Total ripped fruits = 12/2 + 24 × 3/4 = 24
∴ Total non-ripped fruits = 36 - 24 = 12
Statement III:
12 fruits are not ripped in the basket which is 1/3rd of the total fruits in the basket;
∴ Total non-ripped fruits = 12 and
Total fruits = 12 × 3 = 36
Now we can find the required probability.
